About Me

Robert Davidson

Robert John Davidson

"Artists live and breathe their works and try to give to it an eternity."

My name is Robert John Davidson and I am an artist. I was born in England in 1949 where I grew up with my parents, 2 brothers and sister until we moved to the western province of Canada in 1966. I have been drawing and painting since I was a child and have always had a passion for art.

After completing high school, I attended the Vancouver School of Art (now Emily Carr University of Art + Design) where I studied fine arts. Following my education, I worked in various creative fields while continuing to develop my personal artistic style.

My work is influenced by the natural beauty of the landscapes I've experienced throughout my life, from the English countryside to the majestic mountains and coastlines of British Columbia. I primarily work with oils and acrylics, creating pieces that capture the essence and emotion of these environments.

Over the years, I have exhibited my work in galleries across Canada and internationally. I continue to paint daily in my studio, constantly exploring new techniques and subjects that inspire me.

Where Creation Happens

My studio is a sanctuary where ideas transform into art. Located in a peaceful setting, it provides the perfect environment for creativity and focus.

Filled with natural light, my workspace contains all the tools and materials I need to bring my visions to life. It's here that I spend countless hours perfecting each piece, surrounded by inspiration and the familiar scent of paint and canvas.
